My oldest son did this camp last summer and he absolutely loved it. They taught him so much and made it fun at the same time. He came home every day excited to go back the next morning. He made new friends, learned from amazing coaches and had an amazing time while doing it! I couldn’t have asked for more.
This year was a little different in the fact that they didn’t do some of the same MVP awards that they did last year, which I honestly think the kids missed. They really enjoyed that last year. I also felt like my son (who is 8) was in a group of kids who hadn’t never really played soccer before and he’s been playing for 4 years, so he was a little bored at times. I feel like the coach tried to keep everyone engaged but there were kids there that just simply were not into it (and it wasn’t because of the coach, they had a great program put together for the kids). However with that said, my son did leave the week with better ball touch and some new friends, so over all it was a good experience.
